UBCD Creator

UBCD Creator is a graphical interface for extracting, creating, patching, and applying plugins to an Ultimate Boot CD (UBCD) ISO image. Plugins allow adding additional open source software or commercial software to UBCD.

UBCD Creator allows the user to add modifications to the Ultimate Boot CD. It allows you to graphically:

• Extract the CD Contents - You can modify the contents of the CD.
• Apply a Patch - You can download and apply a patch to UBCD. This patch is a file that will update UBCD to the next version. It can be much smaller than the entire CD image, so it can be downloaded quicker.
• Add Plugins - You can add a plugin which will add additional software to the UBCD. This allow you to add commercial software you own or other open source software to your custom UBCD. This feature has not been implemented yet.
• Create a modified UBCD - You can create a new CD image using the contents UBCD Creator extracted. Once this new image has been created, you can can burn the image to a CD with your favorite CD burning software.
